Mockin Moon

The moon seeks to mock me tonight, Its glow reflecting past times so right. When love embraced me so tenderly, When all was never this disorderly. A time when love was in full blossom, When my lover leaned against my bosom. Ohhhh, how I miss him so yearningly, The touch of his lips on mine so softly. Love that was with us for but a season, Ran off love did, left us dry, such treason. Never again to know his delicate touch, My desires were stoked, it was indeed such. I will miss his lips, nibbling on my ear, Enough reminiscing, for now I feel a tear.
