Mochi

Fine treat I taste:
Mochi green tea
With red bean paste
And custard sea.

A fond sweet treat
I get to eat
As Japan greets
My palate sweet.

(Note: Mochi is a sweet delicacy made from rice flour
with a filling of rich-flavoured matcha (ground green tea)
and custard cream; and sweetened with whole Adzuki
red beans. Mochi is a Japanese dessert food that is a
lovely treat for the discerning palate. My daughter
Clara brought home a gift pack of Mochi from Japan.
It was a lovely treat for the family.)
