Mixed Feelings

My heart is troubled,
As the calm waters get rippled,
My thoughts are tossed as in confusion I grumble,
Safety eludes me for my fears get me startled,

I do not want to lie,
But  the truth I cannot hide,
I do not want to see you,
But my heart cannot beat without you,

I do want to cry,
Yet my emotions sucks me dry,
I do not want to live in a state of disbelief,
yet my faith dwindles in life's reefs,

I now live in a troubled heart,
Where my life is torn apart,
In a disturbed world do I dwell,
For my pains indeed swell,
