Misunderstanding
She had a lot of class. She had a lot of style.
I looked across the room and I saw her smile
She raised her hand to her mouth and there was a twinkle in her eyes
She beckoned to me with her finger, which took me by surprise
My knees went weak. My head was spinning and my heart beat fast.
The moment I had waited for and now she was mine at last
I swallowed hard. I wanted the world to know
That I'd be living my dream in a moment or so
I started walking toward her and I was feeling so right
I could picture this beauty in my arms tonight
When I got to her table, it wasn't what I was hopin'
She just called me over to say my fly was open.
