There was I another puss in the cattery Got sent down by a judge from Battersea Two humans came so I took my chance Showed them how I could preen and prance Fortune struck and I landed on my feet Now I’m the No.1 puss in the street!

I don't think I have ever not seen a "puss" land on its feet...but, Wendy, if/when you have time, you might take a gander at my "Elegy for Mr. Boots". Not all "pussies" are as agile as yours.
