Mistrust From a Friend and Lover

It has been a big illusion
And a mind game of delusion
Ever since you came through
My life tearing it in two
With all the lies and deception
I thought we had a connection
That was strong and wouldn't break
I never knew you'd be fake
Leading me in a direction
That could use some interception
And reversal from the past
I just want a way to blast
Myself back to when we met
So I can not have regret
Allowing you to be a part
Of my lonely life and heart
But now I see I was stupid
I am going to find cupid
His arrow I will shoot him with
Destroying every bit of myth
That he's bringing hearts together
In my life there has been never
On guy cupid found for me
Who stopped my paths of misery
They walked on me like a doormat
And each time I just fell flat
With foot marks that leave a scar
But now it's gone way too far
When your cheating ways led to
Me walking right in on you
With my best friend who I have known
For years, but now she has shown
How unloyal she has been
Both of you have caused the end
Of my care in anyone
My trusting days are finally done

Another nice write. I have a suggestion for your 19th and 20th lines: You ended your 19th line with a preposition which is a grammatical error. How about converting those two lines to "I will shoot him with his own arrow", and "every bit of myth about him will go." It's your write. It's just a helpful suggestion for your approval.

Wew, this hurts. I hope it is not a current experience but rather a poetic expression. Either way it is very effectively expressed.
