Mistress of the Sun
Here on the threshold of the dawn
when lights of night have been outdone.
His chariots are slowly drawn
before the mistress of the sun.
A crimson eye winks down from high
and with appeal he sweetly stuns.
He lures her blush then heaves a sigh
before the mistress of the sun.
The dewdrops slip as petals tear
and beasts awaken, day begun.
The sheets of eve now disappear
before the mistress of the sun.
The sky is tied with golden bows
that shimmer as they come undone.
The aura of an angel glows
before the mistress of the sun.
The fingers of the light then weave
until a gilded web is spun.
The grandest sight one can conceive
before the mistress of the sun.
A falling kiss slips from his lips...
The Sun of all and Son of none...
Oh, from the well of love he sips
before the mistress of the sun!
He touches her soft, silver face
her ripples he just cannot shun!
Oh, he's beguiled by her fair grace
...she is the mistress of the sun.
Like tantric palms pressed in the sky
They fuse the night and day as one
Her face illuminated by his eyes
...she is the mistress of the sun...
