Mistress of Dawn,
dressed all in wonder
I implore you, always to rise, 
trailing your rainbow veils.

Climbing from the dewy East
please, never fail me,
even beyond my final rest.

Mistress of Dawn, come,
forever dressed in wonder.

Hi Andie: Thanks for coming and reading. I have really been distant from my poetry lately. I found another one I may not have posted here but it might have been on PFT. Since we have been renovating I don’t spend the time I would love to on writing. I admire you for that. You seem to keep writing prolifically and your imagination’s as fresh as it was years ago. In the new year I intend to go back to studying poetry a bit and attempting more writing exercises.
