Mistress

An old mistress :
Angry and shaking,
and looking
To take your trust.

To have been one so loved,
Cast aside.

A tantalizing dance,
Temptation before your very eyes.
Once a part of your past,
Yet, you ignore her cries.

"Too busy,"
You say,
Ignoring her sweet embrace.
So say it to her face,
Do not lead her astray.

Sleep, and old mistress :
Angry and shaking,
And looking
To take your trust.
