Mistakes and Regrets
A mistake is a learning opportunity
A chance to rectify poor behavior
And learn how to be a better person
A regret is a mistake that can be learned from
But the opportunity to rectify it is gone
And if there's one lesson life has taught me
Is don't let your mistakes become regrets
But when I look back at the weather beaten path
I see a path littered with deep regrets
That haunt me in the darkest hours
But I've also learned that living in regret
Is one of life's biggest mistakes
