Mistake

We all make mistakes.
If I judge you for your mistakes,
I have to judge myself for my mistakes.
Mistakes our meant to be learned from,
To grow in your walk with Christ.
Mistakes our stepping stones in life,
You learn from your mistakes.
So you won’t do it again.
And we also have to take consequences of our mistakes.
Even parents.
They make mistakes in caring too much,
And trying to keep children from making a mistake.
They say “I don’t want you to make the same mistake like I did”
How do you learn from your mistakes,
If they don’t let you make a mistake,
So you can learn from it?
Because once you get older,
You’re going to be free.
And make mistakes that you never got a chance to do,
Mistakes you never learned from.
Parents are here for children to lean on,
If parents didn’t let you make mistakes,
It’s harder to learn from mistakes.
Mistakes is life,
