Miss-Taken!

My feelings for you ran deep...
like faith, hope i did keep...
But every rose has it's thorn,
just as every night has it's dawn.

With no flicker sign of regret,
my utterance you mocked...
in your shady presence i wept,
but you walked...leaving me in numb shock!

In my mind, light once was...
now i realized, darkness you harbor...
never knowing the meaning of pause,
in vain you labor.

With soul piercing glances,
my being you've mistaken...
so i came & found...that you, miss,
was taken by another man!!!
