Missing You Already
We have not known each other for a long time
But somehow you have become a best friend of mine
It started from a crush to my feelings running deep within
To a friendship bond that I never want to end
The freindship formed is one special to my heart
One I knew was worth going after from the start
Our time spent had sparked a bit of joy in me
Each day connected more strong feelings
The attention given from me
Symbolizes the flame for you that burns within me
Now that you are going away
The yearning for you will grow more and more everyday
Thinking about you leaving fills my eyes with tears
As the day of you leaving closely draws near
Each minute, I'm feeling more and more sad
As I think about the good times we had
These next few weeks will be hard
Because I won't see you 'til February or March
