Missing You

Everyday I miss you, All the time I cry. Everyday I pray to God, And sometimes ask him "Why?" I think about you always, The memories that we shared. I know that God has plans for you, But all this don't seem fair. He took from us our loved one, Someone precious to our hearts. I know you're still here spiritually, But it's still so very hard. No longer can I see you, Nor can I hear you laugh. Or see your beautiful smile, Now all that's in the past. I wish I still could hug you, We could sing & play & dance. I should have said "I love you", Everyday when I had the chance. I still sit and talk to you, You never really left. But now only silence answers, As my heart sinks in my chest. Sometimes it's overwhelming, This pain I always bear. But I wouldn't have this sorrow, If the love was never there! - Susan Allen
