Missing You

I still see your face when I close my eyes I still feel your lips pressed against mine I love the way you look at me I love the way you changed what's in me I never believed in true love before you I never knew how much the feeling could come through Now you're gone to set up our new life I really wish I was by your side I am so excited to see you again I can't wait to have my eyes on you To hold you in my arms so tight To feel again that everything is alright I miss you so much but I know it'll be ok I know well be back together someday I know I love you and can't wait to see you I miss you but I completely trust you

Ooh yes, I need to fix that to say pressed. I can't believe I never noticed that. How embarrassing

Thank you. I actually wrote that years ago and I ended up marrying the guy but it didn't work out. He was a liar and a thief and turns out a big time criminal. Love is so blind lol

Yes, that rare animal called true love is elusive but few find it. Lucky are such. Your poem is meticulously knitted and I enjoyed reading the scintillating lines...7+++!!!

Thank you so much for both of your comments. Sadly, that relationship didn't work out. But I love your feedback. I will read your poetry as well. Thank you :)
