Missing Poetry

A month or two has passed since a poem formed
of any size, shape or form - not a thing!
Has poetry departed as swiftly
as it appeared, taking some joy with it?

Dear sweet muse, whisper words into my ear
fill the void in my breast where imagery
once resided and language flowed with ease
 - assist expression of all that's within...

AHHH, a poem for pleading with one's muse. That right there was an answer from your muse, deriving THIS one here. Carol, a person once told me when i suffered from this, just sit down and do challenges. By forcing yourself to do the challenges, you WILL come up with something. Often it is better than you may expect! Luv,Andrea
