Has anyone seen my muse - I think she’s gone on a world cruise One where there’s plenty of booze Then she can have a long snooze! Why has she run away to sea I’m searching for her constantly I’m feeling really unhappy Please can someone help me? If you find her, please send her back Then I’ll be fine and on the right track I’ll take her out in my Cadillac And confiscate her spotty knapsack! Then my muse won’t be free to roam She will have to stay with me here at home So I won’t be left all alone to moan And I’ll write poems in a massive tome 6th February 2017

A cleverly written rhyme to make one smile, especially when struck with this dilemma. Fun to read, delightfully penned. blessings, lynn

Hi Jan, I love this...me thinks my muse and your muse were bar hopping and crusing together! Hopefully, they're headed home, no permanent damage done. L&B, Rhonda

Rhonda how lovely to see you again - lets get those muse's sober and writing again - i've seen many poems lately saying people's muses were missing and this prompted my poem:-) hugs Jan xx

Dearest, Jan, a poet's muse would never leave the poet that inspires no matter what, unless the poet himself for some reason is not as enthusiastic as before! Once the poet's soul is on fire the muse is the first to rejoice! You, my dear friend, are an inexhaustible source of inspiration!

LOL You had me giggling throughout thee poem. Writers' block is a genuine problem, but you approached it in a delightfully witty way. Great work! Hugs, Carolyn

Jan, your muse is so lovely I'm sure she's not buying any drinks. Hope she stays out of mischief, though a bit of fun will provide that much more inspiration. Very nice. Dave
