Missing Mother - Life of Regrets
Lost my mother when young
Wished I listened to her words
She would often tell me,
"Skills I know would be lost
Help me in household work
Post wedding you will need these skills"
I never needed to her words
Now every job seems tough to do
When young, my clothes would be spotless,
Now clothes I scrub endlessly, dirt doesn't go
Her delicious food, I still miss
Now when my son tells mom your food is not good
I regret not listening to her words
I regret not noting down her tips, her tricks
Those recipes so tempting
We seldom live with foresight
Thinking endless is our life
But suddenly miseries strike
We're left helplessly struck,
Sudden lighting striking us
Imbibe skills from others
while they're there willing to tell
Tomorrow is unknown
Otherwise life of regret you will live
Every moment of existence, tormenting.
