Missing Link
Spasmodic I have arisen from my slumber,
With the sun’s semblance upon my skin.
Flustered by an unusual sensation,
My eyes spot removed dust.
My heart pounding,
My soul grieving,
Forbidden for anybody to touch,
My immobilizing being drops to no end.
My God-given determination
Has dispersed, leaving an
Empty shell to follow its fate.
Blue skies are being weighed on my shoulders.
I can’t walk Earth without my missing half,
For I would tremble on youthful knees,
So my dear God,
I open thy heart to wisdom,
Eminent in your position,
I beg thee pardon,
For limbs
And immovable perseverance.
So let thy words of such divine
Hither me more time,
on your watch.
Now like a butterfly from its cocoon
I emerge rejuvenated
And with naked eyes
I fumble upon no lies
For I see the future
That I must guide.
Walking into an outside world,
Although many altercations
Have been blessed on my being,
I still retain substantial damage
From succumbing to, the “black hole”.
My life’s hard-work is being tested,
For now, I shall release my
Missing link from captivity
Instead of it, facing the path of dwindling.
I interrogate witnesses
To achieve my goal,
and with relentless soul,
I dig for an answer.
Still an ache is all I gain.
I find not a soul to give me
An honest reply.
For since they don’t know,
They deny.
My heart begins to yell
“Give in and Let Go!”
“Find another light that will Glow”
So with blistered hope
I live a useless life
With “Sleepy Hollow” as my wife.
