Missing and Knowing

Missing Your hand in mine My weary heart has swept The wishes into dreams that kept You here Knowing Fate can’t deny What two souls take and bind On the other side, I will find You there ------------------------------------------- Poem Written: 12.24.14 Traditional Cinquain Contest: Your Favourite Old Poem #3 Sponsor: Shadow Hamilton

Beautiful Cinquain, Rob. Deep emotions of longing...the missing and the knowing. So much conveyed in so few words. Best wishes for the contest...and for the New Year. Sandra

Oh....love this. The content...the contest is so deep and strong and sweet. Lovely...If we only kept the other side more in our minds...we would save ourselves so much heartache...

I much prefer this traditional style to modern. This is one time when traditional cannot be beat and yours is one of the best I have seen for this contest. Love it!!

Rob I love your Cinquain. It flows very nicely and speaks loud and clear. I better take another look at mine. That is what I love about being here. Other poets like yourself inspire me to do better. I hope you have had a great holiday so far. Merry Christmas.
