Missing

So, the saying is truer “Absence makes the heart grow fonder” When we’ve fallen as lovers We can’t look aback as a loner Time clocks would seem slower Consider every beat by the hour So precious you are We long to be together Distance had become longer Communication gap must not be wider The missing becomes wishing And wishing becomes missing What is there in loving Certainly is your company The intimacy which goes with ecstasy That brought us assuring and trusting Has been mutual, and all odds and dangers Sometimes makes the circumstance graver And the challenges regardless matters No means to counter, rather remember Missing has to be weathered Lest it withers But when finally with each other The temperature’s higher!

Ah, yes what you say here is so true-- and another thought pops to mind, that of "You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone"-- the irony of missing somebody... I see that this won, so belated congrats to you! & thanks, hmm that write of mine is like a riddle? I guess it can be seen in several ways-- one story that I had in mind there was a love story between Sun & Moon, that's why he beams ;) -- How lucky for your visitor to be with you! Kami ma-busy sa pasyon/pabasa-- hugs & love!

Hi Dalila!! I really like the thoughts you bring here about missing someone! I loved how you played with the lines "The missing becomes wishing And wishing becomes missing" --really nice-- I haven't been much here lately either and my connection's soo slow I have been trying to load your pages a bit earlier, so I have yet to comment on When We are Old. I hope it loads after this-- so nice to hear from you! I hope all is well-- hugs to you:D
