Missing

(In Nordic mythology Asgard is a location associated with the God) He darkened my skies to make way for the stars said she inside her lonely Universe there wasn't any "we" and the music was low and the storms they did blow within scars there were scars, appearing in toe He hollered from heaven to catch her off guard but enclosed in herself she was far from Asgard and the thunder did boom and the rain it did fall as she begged him to answer her call He painted her canvass with black and slate gray encased in her soul was a heart made of clay He stretched out his hand and healed every cut she knew she was found by the feel of her gut He darkened her skies for the stars to come out, yes he heard every whisper and heard every shout !

Ive heard of asgard i think, i used to be hooked on vikings. One of my fave series on netflix. Ah your way with rhymes is so stunning and sublime and the flow of your words always so seamless! “ He darkened her skies for the stars to come out, yes he heard every whisper and he heard every shout” this last couplet made me go wow! What a beautiful soulful write this is! Shows that everything even the downs and dark times are for us to find light and see beauty through it all. Powerful write!

Very beautiful, Vie; in my opinion, God never sends strife to punish...whatever comes my way is to ultimately uplift myself or others (one in the same) -- excellent poetry, and poignant message. Blessings my friend.

I remembering reading about Asgard...He was a powerful overlord. This poem is a bit dark but in that darkness you bring hope telling the stars to come out. I find that in my 'dark' periods, I succumb to those gray and slate feelings but in the end God heard every plea, every whisper, and every shout. Well done! enjoy your Sunday, Sara
