Miss You

I don't like it when we're apart
I so hate to be alone
I know you call me every day
But It's not the same on the phone.

I hate to sleep here by myself
I prefer you next to me
For when you're lying next to me
I'm not afraid, no need to be.

The place feels empty without you
A gloomy tomb like space
It no longer feels like home
It needs your smiling face

I know this is just temporary
And I'm sure I will endure
But absence makes my heart grow fonder
So I just miss you all the more.
