Miss Willow

I sit outside in the front lawn
So old and fragile
Enjoying being surrounded by nature like lush green grass and wildlife like birds

Then I see people
and they are talking about chopping me down.
I cringe at the thought and don't want to be chopped down

But oh no
it happens
I am chopped down and distributed around the town
to be used as fire wood in peoples fireplaces
