Misplaced Love

Adultry was the vehicle. Revenge the final fuel. But when all in all is said and done, he'll be remembered as the fool. The fool who never saw the signs or looked the other way. A dumb mistake that changed his life and brought him to this day. Sundown fell upon his shoulders. Bobby bowed his head. Wiped the sweat from his brow wishing both already dead. Cautious and deliberate he set the final trap. His prey now falling into veiw soon to take an eternal nap. Slowly raising his old gun and sighting in his mark. He took a moment to reflect before striking down his target. His victim fell a viscious thud and Bobby left his perch. Once more he wiped his sweat filled brow and turned to find the girl. Slowly creeping on all fours he found the lady beast. Looked softly at her loving face knowing his life soon at peace. When all at once all hell broke loose. He was bleeding out his life. His limbs acquiver, no control, shot dead by his cheating wife. The trees went still and silent. Death blew on the wind. Bobby never had the chance to ask forgiveness of his sin. No pleading to his maker. No groveling to his spouse. Bobby died in misery quiet as a mouse. Adultry was the vehicle. Revenge the final fuel. But when all in all is said and done, he'll be remembered as a fool. The fool that waited one second too long. A mistake which cost his life. All because of the misplaced love for an ugly and unfaithful, disrespectful Wife. The Applethoughtrotten
