Misery

It’s kept in a bottle, high on a shelf. It’s not there for you. It’s only meant for me. The warning on the label, should have kept me away. Yet I drank it down even through the burn. I guess I just ignored the fact that the potion was named MISERY.

When we lose our self-respect and confidence it is easier to perpetuate our condition instead of looking for ways to correct it. Well done Dawn! Best wishes, Keith

I like this one a great deal! It possesses a quality of self-torture and remorse; high on the shelf to keep the misery away from the kids. Congrats on the feature this week! -John
