Mischief and Me

This be the way to go said she
she waved her arms and smiled at me
her hair was red and flying free
and Mischief was her name

She rode her pony 'round the bend
she hollered back
come on my friend
this great adventure must not end
and Mischief was her name

she went ahead on out of sight
I hurried on for fear of night
I wanted her to be alright
tho Mischief was her name

her mother waited by the door
"what have you two been waiting for?
your supper's on,it's after four
and Mischief ........
passed the blame.
