Mirrors and Reflections
Why do we live like this?
(Because, someone has too.)
We can only carry it for so long
(We could carry it forever love)
before we break
(I wouldn't have let you.)
and shatter
(You did, but I, I...)
like the mirror.
(I lost sight of perfection in all the reflecting shards)
So broken
(I thought I could fix you,)
but still clinging to the frame
(I thought you would hold on.)
