Mirrors

Mirror ,Mirror on the wall I know you can’t hear me when I call Maybe you can, none can tell Because you tell me the truth ever so well As you show me my ugly face I am reminded once more why life is an unfair race Why I might never ever get the girl Honestly, I’m not sure I even care Too bad you won’t let me see my soul Which I’m sure is far uglier than the face you show Most times I just sit and stare Somehow hoping that I’ll manage to fare In this world that’s ruled by deception Selfish Competition and constant manipulation Mirror ,mirror help me to learn That the truth is true no matter how stern.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
