Mirrors
The mental institution is your mind,
Compartmentalize.
Living in shadows,
Facing rejection,
Looking at my reflection.
Thoughts are powerful,
So keep in mind,
What you think you'll eventually see.
Running and fighting are tired to me.
There are no voids that need replacing,
Prepared to fix nothing, as the weight of the world comes with lightness.
People only show me shallow darkness.
Giving to take,
Killing the spirit of ideology,
I'd never take without return,
But I'm still your equal
Made to withstand all punches and robberies.
