Mirrors
I wonder what she sees when she looks at me
Because I know the mirror lies
Does she notice every imperfection I do?
Do my eyes look new every time I see her?
Are they as bright as I've been told they are?
Sometimes I wonder
When I look in the mirror
I'm always met with the same gaze
It looks drained
But when she tells me what she loves most
I can't help but wonder what she saw that I didn't.
