Mirror of Trauma

A broken mirror stained with blood
Reflects the mistakes of the past
Though one's heart may heal, the scars
Will flood the veins, a reminder of trauma and pain

Each piece tells a story
Of violence, abuse, and agony
A symbol of a shattered life
Once perfect, now in strife

As the images of betrayal and deceit unfold
It brings to mind what you have lost
The spirit folds, and the heart grows cold
Paying the price at such a cost

The mirror broke, got stained and
You screamed, but it was in vain
Beating yourself up, yet losing the fight
Trying to pick up the pieces to make things right
