not wanting to be bearer of grim news ~ i’ve sought vicarious views 

said the reaper upon reflection ~ what would you use if in my shoes

Interesting. I wrote a rather long piece some time ago titled O Death, Thou Hideous Beast. In the story death becomes aware of its own pending demise. Maybe I'll repost one day. Meantime, yours makes one think. I wonder if mirrors crack when confronted with his mug?

Even death itself will die some day, seems an inevitability, but then what? more life seems the only possibility, I’ve said as much in my Monoku (overcome), hard to know if the reaper can see or use his own reflection, if so it’s bound to crack him up!

I had reaper in mind, breaking the news to himself that his days were numbered, and he was asking himself in the mirror was there a different way of viewing and carrying out the inevitable, I know Tom don’t ask! Lol Cheers David
