Mirror Mirror
Looking in the mirror, appalled by what she sees
a scared lil girl, who longs to be free
born into the world in nineteen seventy-seven
a full fledged woman by age eleven
robbed of innocence at seven, she dreamed of angels and heaven
Sat at the pulpit of sin, hoping god would let her in
she never wanted to do those things, dirty
in the dead of the night
She could not resist him,she couldnt say no
voice still with fright
prying all the while please god dont spite
while he tells her she was made for this, his delight
and soon she would forget
fore in the morning light, it will be alright
so to false hope and lies she held tight
Cuz how could she deny his love, although sorrid
calling him daddy, demeaning and horrid
so she held it all in, even after the trial
fore his sin, was indeed her sin, her denial
and the cancer that ate away at her soul
was the memory of his evil smile
Mirror, mirror on the wall
did you happen to see the girl fall
crimson current on a white marble floor
lipstick quatations "I cant take it no more"
"I am free now dont you fear"
and on the cold blue face lay on tear
