Mirror Image

She looked into the mirror,
But didn’t know who she saw
A lost soul looking for its mate
Never to hold or embrace
Back to bed with a stranger
Lonely with bitter touches
Gazing into nothingness
As the days and nights pass on
Forever and ever
As she looked into the mirror
Wondering how time was lost
