You gave your love to heal a girl
A believer she was true
You put her to the final test
Her love was deep for you
Her Pastor said God loved her
She found hard to believe
The pain and danger she went through
A cure she would receive
Her Mother strayed as many would
To see her child lie there
In agony no hope for her
She needed expert care
You said believe and I will help
How often is this true?
Some suffer with enormity
A long or short life through
You can guide a doctors hand
With chemists medication
But still a miracle will help
And Christian dedication
The Pastor gave what help he could
He offered up Gods word
How many times do people try
How many times unheard
Accept the things you cannot change
Deal with those you can
The knowledge of the difference
That is Gods gift to man
God sent you down from heaven
For some time on earth reside
He will support you by your spirit
If your heart you open wide
The world that you inhabit here
The body where you live
The physical appearance
Was not the Lords to give
So live the best life that you can
The time will surely come
When you return to Heaven
To be with the Holy one
