Miracle of Salvation

All was lost. Everything!
None could have found a hope
For survival.

Sin was strong as the
Intoxication of alcohols.
Men tore their skin with strife
Life was lost in darkness.

Jesus, came the sacrificial lamb
He was our second Adam
He, for our sake carried our pains
He was victorious, he brought us gain.

Now that I am saved
I take it joy to note that
The greatest miracle ever
Is that of salvation.

It is exciting to see the replenishment of new poetry here everyday when I log on. I enjoy the diverse poetry so I am never bored by most of what I read. I am happy to have read your poetry this morning Ingibo. I hope that you might be able to find the time to read some of the other poetry here also. Love, Carol
