Miracle

Fist first and a tiny cry You came into this world on a beautiful autumn night I was blessed with an uncomplicated delivery and birth Mother Nature took care of every detail Short and sweet Perfectly timed Not at all what I was expecting After three empowering hours I was awestruck In amazement Grateful Relieved At last, I held you in my arms Wrapped in blue, we marveled at the sight of you Your sweet little face And every little crook and crevice Such a precious gift One that made us a family And you, our perfect little miracle
