Minute Strands of Joy

I watch as life starts to leave me behind Each day unfolds its neverending glory, little by little youth is another creature ravenous its hunger consumes everything The minute joys encapsulated in each day should be savoured taken in small bites and rolled around your mouth Life is passing me by but I sit here holding ribbons of life stroking them through my hands each beautiful strand Is a moment of joy ....

Jayne, i'm glad to know you find it a blessing in life's beautiful strand. It is a nice feeling, and image... I never have the time to stroke my hands through the strands of life.. I guess I am a sad case, and life is passing me by... I love this poem.. it meant a lot to me....always~ Linda

really an excellent poem which is filled with positive energy.the glorious beginning that tells of the stand you take watching each moment of life,and the final stanza that adds extra charm to your writing,holding ribbons of life,stroking each beautiful strand.....a moment of joy....a beautiful imagery unfolds like a flower blooms
