Mine and Mine Alone
Life, my life, my life
The precious last waters within the heart of the Sahara
To choose would be the true death of me
I wish I could do with an Earth’s blink of life
My lifetime
My greediness overcomes me
Yet I thank the almighty God for this haven
To burn in hell is worse than
A second chance on Earth
Oh how I value something that is lost so easily
Never comes back to me for a second chance
Would you give your lifeline to me if
It was possible?
The hourglass will never be turned over again for me
The blood-stained particles just spill
I wish I could cup it
And pour it back once again
Just once I would not regret
Just
