Mine

I felt it for a moment As I blew through, like the wind does sheets hanging out to dry I was euphoric It was mine The power it possessed was like none other Without trying it could move mountains, while covering the desert with rain I knew what it was It was mine With it came hope and long lost dreams My soul was hungry for more of it's beau vtiful array of food for thought So my soul ate from it's bountiful garden It was mine Then the light started to fade suddenly As quick as it came it has left Leaving a trail of tears far worse than anything before It was mine Comfort turned cold Alone I stood again Only knowing one thing for sure It was never mine
