Mind's a Wandering
My mind’s a been a wandering
A wandering it had gone
To where it was a wandering
Is a place I have not known
It seems to have a wandered far
And a wandered on its own
Should one day it a wanders back
It might just find me gone
It a wandered to a foreign land
Where others a wandered as well
It seems to be a wandering still
To where, I just can’t tell
While it was one day a wandering
A phone call, to me, it made
It asked for help and money
It knew I just got paid
I said, you chose to a wander
And never invited me
So, help, you will never get
And money, you will never see
Then, one day while it a wandered
A knock came to my door
A police officer came to tell me
My mind’s a wandering no more
It had a wandered with a gang
That thought they ruled this town
But a tough mind came a wandering
And brought the gang on down
No more is my mind a wandering
For it had a wandered too far
It had a wandered everywhere
‘Til being killed, in a fight at a bar.
