Mind Of The Heart
“feeling not thinking, soul with love linking ~
we attained God consciousness unblinking”
Mind of the heart
The veins throb and pounce at every thump and beaten drum
Pop-there it comes and goes, continuing down where that river flows
Unladen and unkempt, the wakening of such rapids began
Is it where, at the end of whirling stones, comes a figure such as God?
The ending is coming, near and feared–unknown is the heart, just as mind
Coils and clockworks flowing down the dripping sands of time
Began as it may, sand and sea mix furiously down the plummeting waters
The water carries, the sand shaves, and the rocks tumble with both their Aim
Lead far and wide, tumbling down–for those outside of the rapids discover themselves
For where God is, searching without anything other than might and dreams
But for who is outside of those sudden rapids–not all that wander is lost
But for those who are, outside of wind nor water, fire nor smoke, lead truly aimless
Founded cyclic and beautiful, a path led only by water and sand
Logic comes and burns, as love becomes furious and calm
We are not all lost, as one may say–but a path in unclear still to this day
God is near, and we are far–stray no longer but we follow our mind, as our hearts
