Mind like wires

Her mind was beautiful Like wires At the back of those old TVs A riot of colors, ideas criss-crossing Bouncing off one another, melting, melding Beautiful like a rainbow. There was no straight connection To the relay of things, she said. And her face, her face! Varied more constantly than weather patterns Depending on what channel she was on What high! But it was her mind That struck me the most. A riot, a babble, a cacophony A buzz, never dwelling on a topic Before flitting to the next Like those wires At the back of old TVs
