Mind Growth

In a sea of brown ground,
there she stood.
-unique-
Suddenly understanding the regularity of it.
Of how each must feel a separation from the world.

But here she was.
-woman-
Seemingly feeling the power of it.
Fully grasping the concept that knowledge is
                                  more so everywhere than here.

Accepting her position,
there she grew.
-conscience-
Tenderly acknowledging others around.
In which their feelings were translated
                                         by her own understanding.
Otherwise adjacent to the world.

And here they became.
-companions-
Purely and with complete honesty.
The complete knowledge of
                                               self, others, tribulation, and completion.

Hi...I'm glad that I received a notification today about your poetry! This was an excellent poem to introduce yourself on Soup. I've been on this site since 2014 and am sure I never came across your name before. Do keep that pen of yours busy :) Regards // paul
