Mind Demons

Monsters stare out the windows to my soul. They stare out at everyone and everything They use my body, the parasitic creatures They start whispering to my brain Seeds of corruption and shadows cloud my mind as they take hold. They try to do so to my heart but I close myself off. I try to protect those I love They only get hurt and become distrustful and wary towards me. I try to fix what my demons damaged but how can you fix what is already beyond broken? How do you fix a compromised relationship? Bullet holes and band-aids Doubt and fear. How do I fix what I've done?
