Mind Control

I've often heard it said
That people can control your mind
A gift that's extremely rare
And almost impossible to find

All they do is just speak a word
And your mind's no longer your own
You do whatever they tell you to
Even things you don't condone

"Bark like a dog", they might say
And before long you're saying, "Ruff"
You're not in control, and you don't know
When to say you've had enough

They can make you do most anything
And you'll be none the wiser
They might tell you to eat that worm
And call it an appetizer

Even the written word is all it takes
To put you under their spell
They can make you act like an Idiot
And look like one as well

So beware of all those hypnotizing words
Especially the ones that you see
It's too late, I'm one of those people
And your minds belong to me

Funny. If I had a mind to control I am sure it would be in your command. You know what they say: "The waist is a terrible thing to mind." Or. was that the other way around?
