Notes About The Poem
I dedicate this poem to Milton Hankins, in
ParticipatIng in Andreas un-contest contest '
I started to
Know you, and you were gone.' At times you were
Prickly yet that began to thaw, you spoke from your
Mind of that I'm sure' I sensed the honesty and value
Such' I see many here miss you; you had their trust.!
As a footnote the name Milton is the condensed of
Milltown.' Which may mean Miltons ancestors came
From such a town.? And my entry lines allude to such
Or maybe its just a name picked at random
Andrea might know?
Miltons Lines
Whirling thoughts yet mindful of forms
Turn names observing; your letters borne'
To the flowing race' unconscious streaming
Guddling in grace to beam of myrid meanings
Mill-town forebears, cast your form quite fine
A boon to your peers here' hear hear.!
I stand to applaud; the depth, of Miltons lines.'
