Millions of Reasons - Or

Millions of Reasons

Sitting here thinking this warm night in June;
   dreaming of moments spent talking with you.
Fitting my thoughts ‘round the beams of the moon,
   streaming from heaven through night’s navy blue.
Knitting together the notes of a tune;
   scheming forever your heart to ensue.
Billions of stars that are shining above;
   millions of reasons to fall in your love.

This is actually not a proper Ottava Rima which should be written in iambic pentameter. But since the sponsor's example wasn't either, I took the liberty of using a totally different meter. If it's judged on form it will get an N/A but I still like it and those that have read it have enjoyed it. And that's the reason we write! All my best. John
