Millenials We Are

We love who we love
  We do what we do
We are Millennials
  What drivel we spew

We are who we are
  We live how we live
We are Millennials
We take more than we give

We wait and we wait
  We may never get married
We are Millennials
  Commitments are scary

We eat bland vegan goodies
  We're inveterate foodies
Millennials, we are
  We'll order driverless cars

We're now in our prime
We're on our phones all the time
Millennials we are

Petrarch, Plutarch, Patriarch, Pet-shark,...I have many pen names. (Got to run. Another creditor is calling. ~ Minnow-shark).

You know, the more I think about your comment, the more I know that you are right. Socrates said roughly the same thing about Plato's generation in Ancient Greece. Shows me I've become quite curmudgeony---or at least I am today...Thanks for the perceptive comment. Appreciated greatly. ~ Gershon

I'd take you up on this one, Kurt, but I'm fresh out of Italian lira. Oh, well. ~ gw
